Foundation Center Resources

Supported by close to 550 foundations, the Foundation Center is the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. Through data, analysis, and training, it connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to succeed. The Center maintains the most comprehensive database on U.S. and, increasingly, global grantmakers and their grants — a robust, accessible knowledge bank for the sector. (from the website)

Alamance County Public Libraries offers Foundation Directory Online http://fconline.foundationcenter.org/ at May Memorial Library.  This database provides access to several of their books as well as an online database for researching grant opportunities and foundations. This database is only accessible at the May Memorial Library. Please visit the Reference Department to ask a librarian for assistance.
