About the magazines

The Alamance County Public Libraries have numerous magazines. Most issues (excluding the most recent issue) are available for check out. All titles are not available at all branches, but as with books and DVDs, you may place issues on hold and they will be transferred to a branch convenient to you.

Below, you will find a list of all of the magazines to which ACPL subscribes.

Included for each title is a link to the physical holdings at all library branches, a link to the magazine website, and a link to a Zinio digital copy of the magazine if applicable. Not all of our print magazines have Zinio copies, and not all of our Zinio copies have print copies.

We also have access to some magazine through NCLive. For more information, click on the 'Access NCLive' tab above.

The amount of back issues we keep per magazine varies based upon how frequently new issues are released. For questions about a specific magazine, please contact the library.
